I know, I was so sad that they weren't added, despite still being mentioned in the description of the yard since one of the first alpha's. They really aren't that hard to balance (and I would imagine not too hard to implement either) but they still seem to be deliberately avoiding them. The Dev's must have seen at least one of the tens of threads that have asked for them since day one. Oh well, I'll just enjoy V1.0 and hope they are added in soon, but honestly I've lost hope (I bought this game back at around alpha 15, so I really don't expect them any more.)

pretty sure that somewhere along the way i saw mention from them, that watch towers were unlikely to show up. been in since alpha 2. watch tower suggestion threads, more like about a hundred.
