Dev Wiki Spam Vandalism

Just a head's up, the wiki is currently under attack by automated spam bots rapidly editing pages to reflect advertisement and gibberish text. This hasn't been a problem before now, but since anonymous editing is still enabled for the wiki, they're able to do it easily. Try to get the dev's attention with this ASAP so it can be nullified!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I've disabled anonymous editing now, so with luck we should not have any more problems. Please let me know if my fix isn't working.

Thank you very much, that's great. Disabling anonymous editing should actually stop the spam wave. Now it would be nice if we could get rid of the 75 spam articles (possibly plus the ~ 200 pages that had the {{Delete}} tag before) and the 1100 spam revisions of the "Ironing Board" article.

Looks like the rapid spamming has ceased, thanks! But yeah... we do need a lot of administrative work which needs to be done on the wiki and which none of the current contributors has the ability to do such as deleting files and obsolete articles.
