[Suggestion] Prison Locations

I think it would be pretty cool if there was an option when creating a prison to choose where to put it. Currently its always somewhere in the middle of nowhere in Nevada (jk there is no set place for the prisons ). It would be cool to have the ability to put it in a city or something like that and get positive and negative effects with that. For Example:

Put it in the desert: Prisoners less inclined to escape, running away takes a while and can be caught easily.. BUT emergencies, the national guard, food and supply trucks take an hour or 2 to get there.

Put in a city: Prisoners are inclined to escape, or have help from the outside.. BUT emergencies come very fast and staff wages are cheaper

Put in the middle of the ocean (y not): Almost impossible to escape from.. BUT emergencies cant come, supplies take a day to arrive, staff wages are much more expensive, prisoners have a lower boiling point.

These are just 3 examples there are many other places to put a prison and this opens a large opportunity for modding and just in general more replay ability.

Ice/Artic location: Prisoners less likely to try to escape, or riot, but you are restricted in the amount of staff you can hire, you can't get regular food deliveries every day, and exports are restricted in quantity you can ship.

Subterranean Vault/Bunker: No yard available, you need to provide ventilation, prisoners are more likely to riot due to cabin fever.

With new locations you can add in other new features, like, an elevator for the bunker, a supply ship for artic, you can hire permanent live on site teachers and preachers, parole staff.

Not necessarily, usually prisons have a couple of permanent priests, for the most common religion of the area, and they diversify to accommodate general faith worship for all religions.

Or even go for the German approach to religion.... "This is our new chapel, come in and worship here. Yes, I know it's a little barren. Gas? err... No that's not Gas, it's the incense." he says as he walks out slamming the door behind.

As bad as they where, i dont think they wouldve gone for that, given their religious motivation.

Mentioning countries while on a topic about locations, that would make more sense imo - diffeerent places with different regulations, advantages, disadvantages...

For instance, i could see a place like most european countries giving -2 on cell quality and adding the room requirement of a cell quality of at least 1 to cells. I mean, fine, now they can buy some soap, magazines... They still cant buy like gaming consoles for their cells which isnt that unusual in european countries (allthough they often arent allowed to be online-capable).

Let alone scandinavia.

Now, wether thats even a disadvantage is one question - its different to have to have a certain standart, at the same time, you are ABLE to give your worst offenders still some needs-fullfiling items in their cells which could quell them... certainly the reoffending chance would be lower in european countries as they actualy receive help after their release and their crimes arent publicly recorded as they are in the US which also doesnt help to lead a normal live again.

But deaths will be a bigger issue if they ever should happen, and the death penalty wouldnt be available at all.
