[Sug.] Deployment scheduler for security level zones

Postby CheesyDude » Tue Jun 16, 2015 11:09 pm

Sorry if this has been suggested before, did a search which came up with nothing.

I suggest extending the current deployment scheduler, to allow changing the security level zones during different hours in your prison. This would allow controlling the flow of your inmates a lot more in depth.

It was first brought to me when I tried to make a separate building with its own canteen for SuperMax as well as protected inmates. The idea was to have them share a canteen, but eat at different hours. The problem was that SuperMax inmates decided to sit on the benches in the canteen during the protected's lunch time – and apparently they don't like sitting with protected custodians very much.

Unless there's technical limits against this, I feel it would make a great addition to the micromanagement part of the game! :D

Can't you set the supermax regime to lockup (or another designated regime area like yard or shower) when the PC is eating and vice versa?

Yup, which would solve the problem I had I guess. Still; expanding the deployment scheduler would allow a lot more flexibility, for example you could keep certain groups away from certain corridors or open areas when you want others to be able to access them without the risk of being beat up.

Also, say I want to add death row inmates into the same system. The regimes would become so awkward having to avoid putting free-time during any of the dining sessions but I certainly see what you mean.

Death row inmates dont leave their cells. food is brought to them. If you want them to have comforts (tv) etc, it needs to be in their cell, they are under 24 hour lockdown

I'm sure you understood my point without needing to bump a week-old topic.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that they can use visitation as well.
