[Suggestion] Visitor Deployment

Postby thehax » Mon May 18, 2015 9:01 pm

I always felt there was an option missing that allows/disallows certain areas of the prison to visitors. It always bugs me to see them walk right through my sensitive areas when entering or leaving.

So I suggest adding an option in the deployment to tell the visitors where they are allowd to go and where not.
That way it'd even be possible to build designated Visitor entrances!

You sort of can do that, but not in the way you want it. I was able to make a separate visitor entrance by isolating it from the others. Visitors enter from the north and enter the first door they see. Also, (for safety reasons) Visitors shouldn't be allowed too deep into the prison anyway. With the way I have it set up, visitors enter and exit well away from the sensitive areas. Although sometimes the teachers exit through reception.

While this workaround works like intended, not being able to designate visitor only areas feels pretty limiting.
