Definitely support, it's frustrating having to mark areas as 'shared' to be used by 2 specific security levels only to have protective prisoners wander in.

Fantastic idea, +1.
Re: [suggestion] Mixing Room Security Levels
This is a feature I would love to see implemented as well. I logged on to the forums after a long time to make this very same suggestion so I'm pleased to see I'm not the only one that thinks this would be a great addition.
Also, in response to the snitch trait or the ex-cop trait, it would be nice to see a panel in the Intelligence tab that would point out these characters just as Gang members are pointed out. A large prison with hundreds of inmates would be cumbersome to search through to find those with said traits. I feel that if the snitch or ex-cop trait is listed (discovered) then that inmate has clearly done something to uncover that quality and would be closely monitored automatically. Of course the micromanagement aspect of changing the inmates security level before he gets shanked in the bathroom shouldn't change.

Re: [suggestion] Mixing Room Security Levels
I REALLY want mixed security levels as well as custom security levels. I always wanted a separate security level for gangs, drug addicted prisoners, volatile prisoners, behaving prisoners and working prisoners.
Isolating drug addicted prisoners allow me to be able to construct a rehab branch in my prison, where only alcohol rehab and detox sessions are offered during work and cells are searched every day to keep them clean so the rehab is effective. I can get SO MUCH MORE people through parole if this is implemented.
Isolating gangs prevents any massive fights or extortion.
Gang members don't work so If I keep my working prisoners away from them I prevent trading and arming gang members.
Prisoners that deserve a level 10 quality cell get placed in a luxury branch of the prison where more freedom and trust is given.
Keeping volatile prisoners all in one block allows me to control them easier.

Re: [suggestion] Mixing Room Security Levels
A bit old but stil relevant. For me I would just like to exclude my Protective Custodys from the shared canteens. Have made a seperate cellblock, with shower commonroom and there own canteen to avoid conflicts, but every now and then one of them finds his way to the other canteens and usally get beating sensless. Yes, armed guards would solve this but trying to not supress my prisoners too much. And yes, I have set the PC to eat in the PC canteen in logistics, not sure how he found his way to the wrong canteen during meal time. And I don't want to make a triple entrence to my main block just to allow low/mid/max to enter, there realy should be an "deny access for security lvl x" aswell, or some form of assigning multiple sex lvls to the same room.
