Solitary Confinement Bug

Postby Nanoworlder » Sat Feb 07, 2015 12:09 am

I've discovered a bug in the current Alpha involving solitary confinement.

For some reason when a prisoner is subjected to solitary confinement, the guards don't escort the prisoner to a solitary cell. The prisoner just stays locked up in handcuffs and the solitary timer never ticks down.

The link below is a saved game that displays this bug.

In that game there is a prisoner by the name of "Felix Clegg". He has a large amount of drugs stashed in his cell. I've set the punishment for the drug misconduct to be solitary.

Also I've decided to just test some thing by initiating a solitary punishment without searching the drug filled cell. Results are still the same where the prisoner just stays in the regular cell.

Do you have enough guards to manage all of their tasks? It sounds like they're all busy.

There are 6 guards not deployed to any area. And at the moment of that save, only one guard was doing something that was shown in the job list.

So I would have to say that there are plenty of guards to escort the prisoner.

EDIT: I neglected to see the thread on bug reporting. From now on I'm posting all the bugs I find on the bug tracker.
