Feature Req: Import/Export in Clone

Postby Tristano » Thu Jan 29, 2015 11:29 am

Clone is a great tool which makes life A LOT EASIER when building large (and modular) prisons...

Imagine if any selection of the Clone tool could be exported to a User-Library... And then reimported into the clone tool.

This would mean that we could reopen past-prisons we built, and choose whole areas to extract and save them into a library.

I believe that when the player gets experienced at PA he starts looking at the game from a higher perspective. When he starts a fresh prison he already has in mind some model he like to implement. Having access to a custom library of pre-mad modules would make it easier to build toward the goal. I see that the topic of "modularity" comes up quite often in tutorials, exported prison files, ecc. So I guess this feature would be welcomed by the PA community.

At present the clone tool has a limited area it can act upon, if that size could be expanded a bit...

Best regards.

A system where you could save multiple 'blueprints' would indeed be very nice

 The clone tool is too damn small

A user library of blueprints is a great idea.
