[Bug] Guards are not removing dead inmates

So I found this annoying bug, sometimes when an inmate dies, guards won't store him in the hearse nor move him to a morgue slab, therefore dead bodies just stay where they are forever. I haven't found any way of forcing the guards to remove the bodies.

Had the same problem with dead inmates, saving the game, closing and reloading it fixed this one for me. I guess the job got stuck somewhere.

Yeah, saving and reloading resets a lot of the jobs, and it will usually get done fairly quickly. Same if he you get a glitched "Too Dangerous" squares.

Is morgue working? Didn't ever seen in use at my games.

Continuous ambulance runs are now gone, good for that.

it has worked in the past...but i think its function was broken when reform programs where added in...not 100% sure though

I had 60-80 people die in a riot last night... over several hours almost everyone was removed. 3 remained... I think I understand the source of the bug. The three that were never removed all had, when hovering over them, the job of escort to solitary confinement...

I'm assuming they were alive initially, maybe even being transported to the solitary confinement when they died of their wounds, caught a bullet, or something that caused their deaths.

I'm not sure if reloading will fix those 3 when the jobs reset. I will be able to comment on that tomorrow.

So... I think one dead body was eventually moved to solitary and then off loaded... but the 2 others still remain. All of the other 70ish bodies were eventually removed.

I left a ton of inmates out on the streets for around 40ish in-game days, and after most of them had died I finally hired some guards. The guards took their time to bring every single corpse to the holding cell first. I don't remember if they then took them to the morgue after that, or if they even got all of the corpses, I wasn't patient enough to wait that long. It's really pretty bizarre how it works now.

Had 27 inmates and staff die in a riot in which it took nearly a day for anyone to pick up the bodies and move them to the hearse.

Then in another instance I had a snitch that was ganged up and shanked to death and the guards did nothing about it. After the deed was done no amount of selecting guards or selecting the dead prisoner and moving them to the hearse/morgue via left or right clicking did anything. Finally after about nearly 2 in game days was a guard finally bothered to pick up the body and move it to the hearse even after guards have passed said body time and time again. This was out in the yard, so perhaps priorities are different there.

I have seen this issue as well. I have also had dead inmates get stuck behind/under object and in walls. How they got into the walls of the cell block is beyond me. I removed the walls and furniture and still they never moved, even after reloading.
