Introversion

Unfortunately I don't have the save file to show but I had a Legendary prisoner come in which I wasn't aware of. Once spotted him I just kept sending him to solitary for no reason for hours on end just to keep him locked up. I forgot about him, he came out. Obviously annoyed he kicked off, killed a armed guard I believe (at least I think it was him) and 3 other guards jumped him and started to give him a kicking until he was knocked out and cuffed. However, one of the armed guards fighting him decided NOT to stop. Just kept punching him and punching him. Then a guard came to take him to the infirmary to patch him up. The armed guard followed both of them and just kept beating the prisoner, even while hand cuffed. He was close to death, he was now in bed, surely he'll stop now. A doctor rushes over to save his life, too late, the armed guard continued to beat him while he was in bed until he beat him to death.

Is this intentional or a bug? I do remember something along the lines of Chris saying some guards might end up going to far if a prisoner is mega tough? I think it was on the release when the new reputation system came in.

If the prisoner is a cop killer or similar the guard might try to avenge his fellow co workers by beating up the prisoner a bit extra, sometimes resulting in death.

Yeah, what Chibs said. It's [probably] not a bug. The Cop Killer trait sets officers off if that inmate kicks off, and may result in them killing them out of anger.

I'd agree though, maybe the cops shouldn't follow the cuffed inmate to the ward and attack them there. Seems like that trait should be tweaked down the road.

I mean a Cop Killer is essentially a reverse Snitch, but you can't seclude Cop Killers off from guards like you can Snitches from other inmates. :/

While that is mad where I live, it's not mad at all in some countries. A guard dies, in many countries that prisoner wouldn't make it to the infirmary.
