Snitches and legendarys

Hi everyone!

I am really angry beacuse of the alpha 25! There is no pop-up for you having a Ex-law enforcer/snitch in your prison. I have about 5 deaths beacuse of this! Another thing is that I have one Legendary on my prison that almost fights every day! One day he killed 2 guards and he was in max security all though he was super max before this. So he was demoted. Pls fix! :(

Inspect your arriving prisoners. Deal with it.

Those deaths are result of you paying no attention. Deal with it.

That was a reason why they were added. Deal with it.

I have inspected all of my arriving prisoners carefully and i am not so angry about the deaths its just annoying that it doesnt tell you it when i check the prisoners and that legendary fighting that was just flavor text. But i will report the demoting thing.

Nice attitude.

I could definitely see room for some kinda of popup on prisoners when they arrive. I'm thinking some kind of 'wrap sheet' for each of the prisoners that you could quickly flip through. Basically what you get from your prisoners now when you click on them, but, I dunno, maybe the game autopauses when they arrive and displays the first prisoners sheet, and you could just click a next button to quickly scan the stats of each prisoner, and then an OK button to resume the game and close the sheets off.

Its a bit 'clicky' trying to click on each prisoner, or mouse over them as the van moves down the road, and of course there is no way to see any new arrivals once they make it past the front doors as they are exactly the same as every other prisoner.

I think this falls into a category that this game has been falling short on. Feedback data. If you have ever played, say, Rollercoaster Tycoon, there is a wealth of information that you can gather about your park. Spreadsheets that can be ordered by many different topics - money, happiness, needs, time spent, etc - over different time periods - present, recent, overall. I think that PA needs some more of these. I'd like to be able to tell; who was new, whos been here for ages, whos a lifer, whos getting released soon, whos hungry etc etc without having to click on ever prisoner individually.

Agree with every word.

Just got a legendary dude that has the following traits...

Legendary:
Extremely strong
Extremely tough
Extremely volatile
Snitch! (no I didn't make him an informant, yet)
Stoical
Fearless
Instigator

Holy crap. What am I suppost to do with this guy? Just make his own holding cell? lol.

Well, if he already is a snitch, try and make him a CI. A legendary CI. Seems interesting and it should be really easy to get rid of him if he proves to be too much trouble.

I rigged some kitchen battles and got my 3 ci's that had 100% coverage to get enough murders to have like 300 years on them. The legend guy is already marked for death, and only got 2 years to go.

i made a legendary guy a ci and as soon as a guard unlocked his solitary door he went on a killing spree lol awesome

Legendary prisoners are sort of nuts. I have a guy that is both Extremely Deadly and Extremely Tough and I just watched him hold his own against a squad of 6 riot police. They knocked him unconscious, but not before losing 3 of their own. At this point I think I'm better off tossing him into solitary until he starves to death.

Well you can do the following: Put everything in his specially assigned cell - bed, toilet, tv, bookcase, showerhead, weightbench - and then only let him out to eat. Post an armed guard permanently outside his cell.

I had one holed up like this, but after having him constantly starting fights all the time I decided just to let my armed guard open fire and end it already putting him out of his misery. 97% offending rate anyway. But you can have them behave most of the time if you pacify them with items in their cell.

tried that, everytime it was lunch time, he would murder the first guard he saw, or end up in solitary for fighting. Hell I had to disable all penaltys in the game just to let the guy eat to avoid starvation, and remove guards from areas. But then once again when its lunch time he goes and kills someone. I should of assigned him to the supermax wing and watched the chaos unfold as they all tried to merk him. But instead I just locked him in solitary for 300 hours and sent him away in a body bag.

Heres a copy of my save file if anyone wants to have fun with this legend.... Hes currently in the bottom right corner in solitary (about to be let out in 1 minute) once you load up.

Karlito: That guy shouldnt be a problem. Anything without "Volatile" is HARMLESS, provided you treat your prisoners good. (eg, give the prisoners what they want).
