[Bug] Injured inmates not treated
Injured inmates lying around from times before Infirmary was built are not treated at all. They will rot on floors and no way to help them. They have also 60min lockdown timer, that won't run down. Stuck at 60 min.
Re: [Bug] Injured inmates not treated
Apparently this is a feature, that inmates won't be healed without telling doctors to do it specifically?
Re: [Bug] Injured inmates not treated
No, prisoners are just escorted to solitary before they get escorted to the infirmary (a reverse of this has been suggested before)

Re: [Bug] Injured inmates not treated
prisoners seem to only go to med if
guards refuse to escort prisoners who need med assistance...only workaround is to send you doctor directly to them i think
as far as the lockdown bug...clicking prisoner and clicking a random bed(assigning the person to a new cell) seems to fix this problem
i actually had a more interesting problem...prisoner went crazy and started fighting everyone...guard tazed him and then he just laid there unconscious ...after watching him lay there for hours and no one doing anything about it i sent a doctor to revive him...once he was revived he immediately attacked the doctor causing a close guard to taze him again...and the cycle began...after 4-5 times of this i finally sent prisoner to solitary for 24 hours manually...where he stayed for the rest of his life...the 24 hours would expire guard would come get him..escort him to cell..than another guard would come grab him and put him back in solitary for another 24 hours
to be honest i wish stuff like this would happen more often...i mean lets face it..some people are just crazy and do stuff for no real reason(probably why they are there to begin with)
as Alfred Pennyworth said in batman (just had too)
- room/rooms leading to it aren't listed as staff only
- they aren't on lockdown/solitary
- they are conscious
- and they have free time

Re: [Bug] Injured inmates not treated
It seemed like this was working for me in Alpha 24, but my prison was quite small and had a lot of free-time scheduled and not a lot of infractions. But even those who had an infraction (usually drugs, which does carry a solitary penalty -- unless OD doesn't trigger the infraction?) would generally be brought quickly to the infirmary by a guard, not to solitary.
But since 25 I've definitely noticed it, especially among my Max-Sec population. I have to actually send the doctors into cells/solitary, and upon opening the doors the guard unlocking the cell for the doctor just leaves, locking the doctor in. Which would be fine, if I didn't have to send the doctor in the first place.
Guards will only very, very rarely, when the stars align, bring these guys to an infirmary, no matter how close the infirmary is, no matter whether it is locked or unlocked or behind a regular door (I tried messing with doors, realized it didn't matter, and quickly put the appropriate doors back as they should be), no matter how old the infirmary is, no matter that it's not restricted in deployment, no matter how many guards are freely available.
They do sometimes (rarely) do it, so there isn't anything wrong with my infirmary.
But mostly prisoners are either left injured or unconscious in their cells, or they're moved to Solitary. Once their current Solitary time ends, they still aren't brought to the infirmary. They either stay crumpled up and unconscious in the solitary cell, walk (if they're able to) to the canteen if it's meal time, or go back to their cells and again just sit injured or pass out. Very, very rarely a guard will bring one to the infirmary. But generally the only recourse is to send a doctor unguarded into the cell of a dangerous prisoner.
I can't even select the prisoner and right-click the infirmary to initiate a transfer. No matter how many guards are available, they just will not do it 95% of the time.

Re: [Bug] Injured inmates not treated
I've consistently had problems with prisoners needing medical attention, and it's even flagged under the todo list. Doctors seem oblivious to it and prisoners do not go to the infirmary.
I even tried making other infirmaries in higher traffic areas and that worked for a time until the doctor got tired whereupon they left and when they came out of the staff room they all congregated in the one infirmary closest to it.
Assigning work areas and routes for staff like doctors, cooks and even janitors and gardeners would help a lot in making things run efficiently
