Remove single control/servo link?

Postby _alphaBeta_ » Sun Aug 03, 2014 8:52 pm

How do you remove a single link between a door control and a servo without removing all the connections of the door control? Am I missing it?

I think this is bugged. The player should be able to click on the "Clear Connections" button whenever you have an electrical device selected. However, the button doesn't do anything for ending connections. The only way to clear a connection is to clear the source / starting point.

Yes, I've seen the same as well. "Clear connections" should work from "both ends" so that specific connections can be terminated from the servo side. Right now it can be quite a hassle to remove or move one connection from a door control console since all connections need to first be removed.

A workaround I thought of after playing yesterday (haven't tried in-game yet) would be to dismantle the servo in question. I would think that would terminate the single connection. While that seems like a major pain (and could take considerable time to dismantle and then rebuild it), it's not so bad when faced with the prospect of re-wiring all the existing connections and not missing one in the process.

Thanks for the feedback. I was heavily assuming that I was somehow missing this.

You can just right-click the cable you want to delete, but only at the beginning/ending of the cable
