120 dead
I have over 120 dead people in my prison. My morgue is stacked full, they are laying all over the prison yard and in cells. I have morgue trucks lined up down the street. I have 5 Dr.'s standing around doing nothing, and 15 guards unassigned doing nothing. I also have 70 some prisoners awaiting to be taken to Solitary Confinement. How can I remedy these issues?
Re: 120 dead
Include a screenshot or a link to the savegame
Re: 120 dead
Hire more guards? Short of editing your save file, you have allowed a rather nasty situation to occur. Spending a lot of money (on guards, for example) is probably the only solution.

How do i provide a link to the saved game?
Re: 120 dead
You must first find your save file (see the section labeled "Location" of the .prison wiki article). Once you have found that, upload it to some place that can be publicly linked (Dropbox, for instance) and provide the link to us. That said, I suspect that the issue is as noted above, and that there is not much that you are going to do without spending a lot of money (or editing your save file to "cheat").

Ok, ill try do this later or maybe tomorrow. Thanks.
Re: 120 dead
you could also upload your prison to the steam workshop (assuming you are using the steam version of the game) and tell us how you listed it.

Thanks for the help guys, I was zoomed in on a new cell block I was building and didn't notice a fire was raging through my biggest cell block. Went back to the auto save file, and the fire was there, so I just sold it. I did end up hiring about 50 more guards and the numbers were coming down.

Gotta love this game for featuring a ridiculous answer to a ridiculous problem...

Hey, man. It's a perfectly good prison. Smoke? No, thank you. I don't smoke. Oh... you smell smoke? Really? That's strange. I don't smell any smoke. At any rate, if I can direct your attention to cell block B, we have some wonderful facilities here. Don't mind the firefighters and paramedics, they are just doing some routine drills.
So, are you ready to buy?

Is this from a movie? I am confused.
Since I am here, I am currently searching all over the web trying to find out why the game won't launch for me. I am using a Mac and the only things I have found are window fixes. Can't get anything Steam to open.

It was meant to be a humorous take on Hemothorax's post.

That sounds like a Steam problem, not a Prison Architect problem. I would suggest hitting up the Steam forum. For what it is worth, Steam stores application files in the directory
Code: Select all
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/common/under Mac OS X (10.6, at least). You might try launching the applications directly, rather than through Steam.

Can't seem to log into steam. It says I am using a new browser, emails me a code, I put the code in, and it just sits there. I was waiting for page to load when I made my last post, so i am thinking it is something with steam.

Again, this is a Steam problem, not a Prison Architect problem. Contact Steam's support---we can't help you.
