John, do you want reports positively confirmed as good to be flagged somehow (i.e. moved out of "BugBash-1-Test" to something else)? Last BugBash, we had a "BugBash-1-Verified" or similar that we designated once we received a few confirmed reports.

I'm having performance issues with the mantis bug tracker itself, with pages taking a loooong time to load. To test exactly how long I clicked on the "Prison architect issue support ranking" link on the site and started a stopwatch. As of right now it's over 4 minutes and counting. I only clicked once and It's not my internet because every other site is working properly

I'd love to help with the bug bash, but the bug tracker site is much too slow, would you guys mind taking a look at it?

I am also getting some slow loading times as well. Hopefully, it'll go back to normal on it's own.

I have found a couple of things that may or may not have been mentioned.

1. When I am playing on a large or medium map, if I build a large foundation the game slows down significantly regardless of the speed I want to play at. This only happens when I build an area 1/4 of the playing area or greater, which I do a lot. I have found a fix top this though, if I open the "rooms" tab ( Click on the rooms button) I can get back to super speed while it builds, or any speed I wish.

2. If I pause the game right as I start a new map, I can hire all the builders I want even if this means going into a negative cash flow before I have an accountant. The money isn't deducted until I hit the play button. I can pause, hire 20 additional builders, then hit play. The money isn't deducted until I hit play so it's a way around needing an accountant.

One idea I had was perhaps charging for deliveries and trash hauling. Maybe make that an option like unlimited funds in the begining. It's a way to make things a little harder. Just a thought.

Is there no way to get the bugbash for Linux without Steam? The direct download only works for 25b.

Thanks!

The bugbash is exclusive to Steam users only, and past bugbash builds are unavailable altogether. Alpha 26 is right around the corner, and will be available to every customer.

Cheers!

Bugbash 2 has ended, and Alpha 26 is now live. If you were participating in bugbash, please remember to opt-out of the testing branch on Steam to go back to the official builds.

Thanks!
