Ah, okay, I see those two pairs I reported have been cloned on purpose. I don't understand what purpose (they have not been treated differently afterwards, like assigning to different people or marking one as a tracking case, splitting them up in two cases for different sub-aspects, ...) , but I will stop reporting such stuff now.
Re: Mantis clean up - you can help too!
But now I gut a duplicate that's not been cloned:
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=2223
and
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=2266
and
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=2530
are about the same issue.

May I ask why users can't insert Relationships in mantis?
It's more fast that came here and write duplicate bug.
bye

A significant percentage of relation suggestions that come from users inexperienced in bug management is invalid. That is why there is a mandatory review layer: someone who is trained will check your suggestions and apply them. After a while, when your suggestions will become consistently accurate (perhaps after some guidance, which we'll happily provide) and when both you and existing updaters will feel comfortable with relying on your judgement, we can recommend to IV that they give you the elevated permissions so that you can be faster.
In other words, new users are not trusted with full access to the Mantis database. Personally I think it is rather smart.
By the way, this is not a process specific to Prison Architect mantis bug management, but to many organizations (open source projects, for example).

3326 and 6207 are different bugs. One is related to staff zone breaking uniform transportation, while the other is about staff zone breaking other laundry-related jobs. Those bugs have different entry scenarios and most probably will require separate fixes and fix confirmations... unless PA internal architecture is very far from how I imagine it, and even if it is, we'll wait for confirmation of that from IV while keeping the bugs separate until then.

Re: Mantis clean up - you can help too!
So I just bought the game, new to the forum and everything and I'm trying to figure out how to report a bug and make sure its not a duplicate or whatever. Can someone maybe clarify for me how to make sure I'm not posting a duplicate bug. I play on a mac and the top menu bar, the one that contains info like available money, # of guards, etc. is missing. I went back and downloaded alpha 27 and the top menu bar was present. So this is definitely a bug new to Alpha 28. Thanks, sorry if this is completely in the wrong spot.
