Here's what happened. Issues were resolved and we can't comment on resolved issues. So I had to reopen them and put them in the Feedback state. When I did, they disappeared from the changelog.
For reference, those are the issues which I have reopened:
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=37
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=1383
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=1469
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=81
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=46
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=45
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=3237
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=39
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=1984
I skipped 0004368: Startup crash in __GLeeGetExtensions (it seems to me that it has never hit the public).

Mantis removed the issues listed above from changelog and people could leave notes on them, but could not reach the bugs to retest them through changelog as per John's instructions. So I created an issue with a capslock-typed title and a list of what was fixed and resolved it, which put it in the changelog. Now people can both see and leave notes on the issues as per Johns instruction in the video.

--- everything up until this point is reviewed and counted

We have smashed 621 bugs! Outstanding work!

Now lets smash even more. I guesstimate that the game has about 1000 bugs, so if my calculations are correct, we have just done about 30% of our work here. We are on schedule, keep at it and we will finish by the end of the month.

We also need to click through the issues in the Feedback state as the number of those is growing.

@RGeezy911, since I have opened the BugBash-1b issues and notes can be added, please copy the comments you have made here to the respective issues. I think "Startup crash in __GLeeGetExtensions" was only on IV dev machines.

As for what we do with the partial fixes and unresolved issues, I'd wait a day so that we get feedback from more users (perhaps you were testing on BugBash-1a and it was resolved in BugBash-1b?). Then I think it would be best to send a report via secret channel to IV so that they make a decision if they want to keep working on it or accept the partial fix (hopefully the first option, especially with the crash).

Interesting issues of the day (support maybe):
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=3157
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=4464

I added quick links to motherbugs and assignments to the first post.

I got bored during work, spent a few minutes (an hour.. Ops!) browsing old issues and known duplicates.
Closed 20 duplicates, and marked 6 bugs as feature requests.

Got some ideas for things to check when I get home.
Maybe I can close a bit faster when I 'm at the PC instead of my slowpoke phone x)

Edit: Closed off 6 non-bugs / user errors.

Total closed this post: 32
Or do we only count those we are linked in lists?

Done updating the issues in Mhoram's post right above mine here .
His list in the above post resulted in a total of 54 bugs being closed off! :D
Good job mate!
((Number includes bugs I closed because of findings from the list as they where found due to the list))

Mazetar, as I know you are careful, could you review http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=4545 and do a second round of deduplication there? It's the new motherbug for foundation issues. It's crazy.

We count what we have. You saying that you take care about 32 bugs actually makes counting easier for me, now that I think about it.

Yeah, I'll look into it when I get home from work.

Also I intend to go back to very old issues and closing off invalid ones.
I took a peek at it yesterday and noticed theres a lot of reports which are either useless, invalid or just so old and inactive that they are hardly relevant.

I also intended to do a quick run over all issues with severity "Block" as most of them are not nearly that serious. But I guess it's not worth spending more than 5 minutes on it as the devs don't prioritize by severity.

Yeah, it is not used. I think it would be more productive to look on the issues which are in feedback state as this is where the action is right now :)

On that note, I have flagged more for feedback lately, I will probably do that to many more in the comming days. If they aren't replied to within a reasonable time (2 days), then I will close them as uninformative or duplicates as apropriate.

I intended to do a writeup for the feedback bugs, I'll probably do it in a few hrs when I'm home.

Also it's nice to see the bug count go down.
Looking for issues with status new, severity not feedback lists only 2362 bugs now :)
This isn't all thats left, but it's very nice to see :)
I'm sure theres many duplicates, feature request and ivalid ones left.

Holy ****!
That was a lot of tangled issues.

I have closed 19 Issues, most as duplicates. 2 as User error with the foundation tool mechanics.
And yet, still 22 open issues remain.

I have asked for feedback on a few of them, and some of them might be closed depending on that feedback.
Some seems to be solved, awaiting feedback on that.

Also I'd like opinions on this one #2661.
Isn't this more of a feature request?
At least I believe this to happen by design. Considering that it's the easiest way to implement it, avoiding to deal with a ton of issues.
Considering all the existing issues I believe this won't be added before a rework of the whole tool.

mazetar, you did the second pass over them ;) First pass was exciting too!

I think everything that is in Feedback state should have a comment pointing out why it needs feedback. There is no need to write it up in the thread unless you have doubt.

I think 2661 is a bug made early, in requirements specification phase. I support this bug, it makes building stuff harder for me. With two draws I should be able to make a building that looks like a cross. The reason this should be hooked to 4545 is that when someone from IV reads the whole 4545 and decides to reimplement (just as John did with regime in A21), he might find this requirement very useful when designing the new solution.
