Just informational:

Nearly exactly three years after the first case (http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=1), #10000 (http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=10000) has been opened some days ago.

Of those 10000 cases ever opened, 6307 are not closed as of now (one week before the 1.0 presentation event). However, 1082 are on status "resolved", leaving "only" 5225 actually open.
Of these open cases, 737 are classified as "feature", leaving around 4500 actual bug requests (or incorrectly tagged feature requests).

Of all non-resolved cases (incl. feature requests), 344 have a note containing the word "duplicate", 236 the word "closed", 395 the word "fixed", possibly meaning that someone said something like "is a duplicate", "has been fixed", "can be closed" in about 1000 cases.

Thank you for gathering this information. "resolved" usually means "fixed", while "closed" means it was a duplicate, irreproducible issue, user error or something like that... So "resolved" issues are actually good.

When this thread was born, my assumption was that the strong majority of the tickets are duplicates. Many were - we closed thousands of them. Many are genuine. I'll run some statistics too.

IV is doing a pretty good job at fixing the high priority issues. They are actually working with the community to identify the ones that should be fixed first, and they do fix it. No game will ever be bug-free though :)

EDIT: actually only 9882 issues are "public". Some which were created as "private" are only visible to the devs.

EDIT: by current estimation it will take more than 5 hours to import data from Mantis. There is a lot of it :)

There are 3575 closed issues, including 2883 duplicates. 1082 issues are resolved.

Community moderators closed/resolved 2828 issues.

Other than that, I ran some numbers, but found not much actionable information...

Duplicate bug reports concerning issues with workers moving logs to export even though they should be taking them to the workshop:
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=9521
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=9568
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=5683
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=9879
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=5172
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=9984
http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=3780

This is the motherbug (Issues with Deliveries, Exports, and Garbage areas), even though it's more of an issue with AI logic, but it's the closest I could find.: http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=7605

Issue #3780 (linked above) is marked as resolved since A-32, but it seems that it's reappeared and is in a worse state than before. Rather than moving all logs to exports on load, it's doing it constantly and the temporary fix marked in the report doesn't work (recreating the exports area, thus refreshing destinations), because when removing the export area, they still transfer all the logs there, even though it's not marked as export and sometimes they even transport them back and forth, creating a short loop until the commands run out. Seems to occur in both A-36b and bugbash.

More duplicates of 0009677 (Prisoners leave their hands at weight benches):

Three nearly identical reports (none of which are particularly more useful than the others) relating to performance with old/large prisons:

0010168 is a nearly identical duplicate of 0010167, although the former includes a save file.

0010108 is not a bug and the submitter has asked for the report to be closed.

0010057 and 0010058 are exact duplicates of 0010056.

0006099 has been fixed at some point and can be closed/resolved.

0010227 is a duplicate of 0010228 (the latter includes a save file).

0010233 is a duplicate of 0010234 (same situation as above).

0010188, 0010189, 0010190, and 0010191 are all nearly identical duplicates, except that the last one contains a link to a video of the issue.

0010072 is a duplicate of 0010073.

0010021 is a duplicate of 0010022, which itself may be related to/a duplicate of 0007483 (or its parent, whichever is better).

0010015, 0010016, 0010017, and 0010018 are all nearly identical duplicates (No Court Date for Federal Witnesses), except that the last one contains a picture.

0009977 is a duplicate of 0009978 (the latter includes a save file).

0009865 is a duplicate of 0009864.

0009927, 0009928, 0009929, 0009930 are all duplicates of resolved issue 0009931 (Gang Members Not Displayed in Gang View).

Sorry for the long post and for triple posting. Was kind of hoping someone else would have posted by now, and I'm not sure if editing my old posts would be seen as fast. If there's a different way you would prefer I do this, please let me know.
