Any tips on the grant Inmate Nutrition Research?

I've got part of it done, Service 3 good meals for 2 days.

The other part I'm guessing I don't understand. I have 1 meal time set in my regime, but it didn't give me any partial credit like it did for the other.

Anyone have tips on how to go about getting this one?

I thought I saw from the Alpha-19 video (haven't played yet) that the meal quality matters as well. You'll need to change the drop-down in the regime tab I believe. Not sure what else the meal quality or portion size affects (other than food cost), but that's probably all a future consideration.

Just did a high quantity, none variety.

I don't know where to set the quality.

Going to try Low Quantity and None variety next time....

EDIT: Didn't work. I also tried to have a 3 hour block to eat in the entire day, no riots, but they were hungry. Still didn't work. The only thing I didn't try is a single 1 hour block with Low/None. But with over 150+ prisoners, I'm not going to risk that.

I have no idea how to make this happen either... Guess it's just going to sit there in my grants until someone works out what we're meant to do.

I tried doing only 1 hour of Low/None per day for like 5 days (w/ lots of armed guards to keep everyone suppressed and free time to fulfill non-food needs). Did not work; the requirement is still there. I think it's glitched. Learned 1 thing though: seems like it might be possible to not feed your prisoners at all and still not have riots (for medium/low security prisoners) as long as they're suppressed. Looks like they won't die out even if not fed for a few days.

Both quality and quantity need to be set to low, not none or it wont work.

I think this is probably a bug....

I've tried just about every permutation including an entire days worth of feeding time with varying values for quality quantity per day and it doesn't want to sort itself out ...

I had initial issues with this as well - description could be a bit clearer.
I can confirm the setting has to be LOW quantity and LOW variety
- so not the lowest possible setting of NONE variety.

You need:

Low/Low during one block of two hours or less.
High/High during three blocks.

The percentage will go up throughout the day, not just when the meals are served. So if an hour ticks by and you meet the requirements you should see the percentage go up.

I've also heard that doing the High Quality first does not complete this. Every time I've done it, I set Low/Low and waited for the percentage to complete (set only a single, 1-hour eat time in the regimine). Once the low-quality is done, go to High/High and add the other two eating times (again, I use three 1-hour blocks throughout the day)... wait for percent to complete.

Set the quality and variety in the Regimine tab (where you add/remove "Eat" schedules)

Debunked - I completed it when doing high quality first - after I gave up on low quality for a day. Then I saw the % rise and realised the grant wasn't broken. After High was completed (crossed out) I successfully completed low/low as well and got the grant.

I've also found that if you load the game or expand the land (which seems to reload from some kind of file) progress is reset to zero. (Same for the long-term investment goal.)

Two hours or less appears to be the key I was missing here. Thank you, I can finally get this off my list!
