Suggestion: Unemployed Prisoners

Postby KickAHobo » Tue Mar 25, 2014 4:12 pm

Players should be able to decide what unemployed prisoners do. I would like my unemployed prisoners to do "nothing" as opposed to something similar to "free time" which is what it seems like they do now. Nothing as in the regime option. Basically cell time.

+1 for increased control on employment. Having the ability to say where educated prisoners and skilled prisoners work. Also indeed the ability to say what unemployed prisoners do would be nice. On the bright side, the export system is being revised this Alpha so perhaps so more control over this aswell...

And yes, that would mean more micromanagement.

Also the option to have prisoners who didn't work during the last work session have priority over prisoners who did work the last work session instead of randomly assigning prisoners to work.

And of course the option (in prison policy) to disallow people from working if they have smuggled something from work.

more precise punishing indeed.
like when a low-sec prisoner smuggles tools he automatically becomes a med-sec prisoner

This is what I am waiting for, but also including some automatic downgrading: If prisoner x is behaving properly for a week, he's downgraded to low-sec.

Once implemented along with more sophisticated escape plans, clever prisoners behave until being in lowest security and then make a run for it.
