The contraband system currently gives prisoners access to tools which can be used for tunneling (though the amount tunneling was greatly reduced a couple of versions ago), weapons which can be used against prisoners and other guards, lighters which can be used to start fires, and keys which can be used to open doors. So, even though they system is not entirely fleshed out (for instance, Chris has indicated that booze and narcotics will play a greater role eventually), it does have gameplay implications.

I'd like if they stopped rampantly taking forks and spoons everytime they go to eat, they're like magpies. Just a huge mass of pink and blue circles at chokepoints when checking Contraband and that's 24 hours alone.

map rotating wouldn't be necesary. just the option to design the road the supply trucks use yourself

I would love to see some new 'escape actions' added other than tunnels. For instance how about prisoners hide in garbage containers, waiting for the garbage man to come and 'escort' them out of the prison. I would also like to see prisoners be able to disguise themselves as guards and escape that way. Finally I would also like prisoners to escape threw drains in the Showers---Great Escape style. Keep up the good work. This game is unbelievable. :P

Concerning escapees: What about good, old lockpicking? Or, instead of tunneling under a wall, break through a wall. Both ideas probably need more cooperation between prisoners, them conspiring at dark corners of the prison going through the plan, for example, one of the prisoners standing watch, the others only working on the wall/picking a lock/stealing a guard's uniform when no guard is nearby.

Then, guards should have some more needs, too. Not shower, but possibly food and the nature calling would be great, so that sometimes a guard leaves a patrol and the prisoners can act.

i voted for New 'Mid game' content and New simulation systems.

But i would love to have one little change that probably everybody would love!

-> Make it that it loads the latest savegame when it starts!

Any chance that somebody in charge reads this? ^_^

I doubt whether somebody in charge reads all the comments but that aside,
If you open the preferences.txt file you can see that it already lists the last prison you opened so such a system might be planned to implement or be implemented with a mod.

It already was implemented in one of the earliest Alphas. However, this feature made the game completely unplayable for those players who had a windows-username with special characters (like ä, ø, ç or any cyrillic letters) because the game does not understand them yet, so it was unable to load the last savegame and crashed. Until Introversion gets around to add special character support, we won't be seeing that feature again for this reason, but I have no doubt whatsoever that it WILL be done at one point.
