A18 Bug

Postby dogsbody » Sun Mar 02, 2014 3:32 pm

Erm....

I've just started a new prison on A18 after updating PA on Steam, closing and restarting steam and...

....all my delivery vans seem to be huge trees, the generated trees appear to be oversized TV's and my workmen are black squares...

HELP?!

two words; Alpha , mods

The game is an Alpha meaning it is updated regulary but any older mods may not be compatible with the newer version because certain sprites moved. Always disable mods after an update and either try to adjust the mods yourself or wait for the creater to change it

Do have a folder named 'data' on the location of your prisonarchitect.exe?

That is how the community modded before the modding system. If you make a folder named 'data' the game will override the orginal files with the files placed in there so you never had to change the actually files.

So yes, you should delete that folder but you might want to check the files in there, see what it changed and make a mod for it if you would like the keep it
