Quick question about tools

Postby bluestrike15 » Fri Oct 04, 2013 2:12 am

Im just wondering do tools have a durability? Say a prisoner takes a spoon from the canteen, does the spoon break after a while causing the prisoner to get a new one or a better tool. If not this would be a great idea. Only if a prisoner is very clever (or lucky) to get a series of spoons to his cell OR EVEN a workshop tool he would be able to escape. Also different tools should have different durability.( if a prisoner hopes to escape with metal spoons he should have alot of stealing to do from the canteen.) Spoons being the weakest tool.

I immediately thought of Madagascar where the penguins were stealing spoons after theirs broke as they dug the tunnel. Currently all tools last forever, in the future this could change but not any time soon I would think.

It would be funny to find a prisoner who seemed like a angel in your prison with a spoon and to find out he and a few other prisoners had almost reached the outermost wall just because he or one of the others got caught once when retrieving a new spoon.

I know the forks are durable, I saw one prisoner stab quite a few prisoners and guards with one in my 'arena' prison side project. I would assume the spoons are also made of the same adamantium alloy. :D

Forks and spoons? That's too inefficient. I demand sporks, dammit!

Well, it's not adamantium but it's close... Titanium spork... Only $8.99!
