Ok PA hates me

Well I just got PA on steam and the file size was 638mb so that was my first clue to the pain that would come. I doubt this is a bug with the game itself due to when I tried to start it crashed so open the file its in and there are 5 or 6 things in there an EXE and rest are XSLs. There are no folders at all. Ok so I'm thinking steam farted to the wiki and download it from there. It comes out to be the same thing steam installed. Well that does not run. Anyway to fix it?

On steam you can right click on your game in the library and click check local content or check file integrity or something which makes aure you have all the required files for the game.

I did that it said it was fine so deleted the game and reinstalled still had the same files.

Game itself is less than 150mb on steam.

Well I got mad and needed to cool off before asking or most of this would be cuss words any way next time I get to my computer I'm heading to the wiki to download alpha 12 and see of that runs.

Is it possible that when you say you 'got this on steam' you were fibbing and you actually pirated it and downloaded it from somewhere else?

If so, it's also highly likely that you downloaded something with a diabolical payload and your computer is now more virus infested than the drains of a Roman bath house.

Doubtful. If you click on his profile, you can see what groups he is a member of. He is a registered user, and a member of the Prison Architect alpha, which means that he has linked his forum account to a legitimate game key. Perhaps there is a keygen out there in the wild, but, for the moment, Occam would choose a more generous explanation.

But, yes, you and Occam are probably right. Revised best guess is that the OP is mistaken and they're looking at the wrong file.

Prob I did let steam open where the PA files are at any way I'm downloading alpha 12 right now to see if it runs.

Well after downloading alpha 12 from the wiki it wont run my guess it might be my graphic card or something I really don't know at this point.
