I'd like to see the existing features beeing polished, because at the moment contraband is very hard to control, even with lots of metal detectors. Perhaps this will change with the dogs :D
So don't forget your promis, Chris :P I LIKE DOGS
I have a suggestion for alpha 14 or 15 aswell: changes with the light at night: the guards have a decreased sight, so that the flashlight makes more sense and have a use.
There could be spotlights that could be placed like cctvs on walls and which do their job exactly like cctvs but which work with darkness. Very helpful would be the feature of setting a fix point on which the cctv / spotlight looks

i would like you to fix the problems with the current alpha before trying to add to it.....a lot of things are broken as is.
I would like to see every thing that was working, work again.
speed up the game also, it sucks when I have 200-300 prisoners, because at that point paint dries faster than the game runs.

before all you fuckers say "its an alpha", I know that....it should still work a little better/faster.

Game still needs a lot more features and it's kind of pointless to start balancing heavily until they're added. Just fix the worst bugs until beta.

Personally, I think alpha is for features, beta is for bug fixes, but yeah chris, maybe you went a Tad bit overboard with deployment?
With the sincerest regards,

I think some game balancing should be done

Just pointing out that the GFC mod offers some well-balanced gameplay for now, and may tide you over until the core PA gameplay is balanced.

I'm, like, one of the last people who need it. It's the newer players who don't realize that you need to design your prison around a workshop complex that need the mod, and if they haven't seen my videos or read my guide (that would be the overwhelming majority) then they're certainly not going to know where to get any kind of mod.

I can cope with the gameplay being distorted, the problem is how counter-intuitive it is right now.

New features! Isn't that what an alpha should be all about?!

What is the point of new features if game is unplayable? I think that Chris should fix performance and pat finding (two biggest and worst problems) and then focus on adding brand new features. Only playable is small map and where you gonna put all new features?

A couple more rooms and fixing multiple kitchen/canteens is necessary to have a fully built nice plot.

I was torn between performance and new features. I ended up selecting new features, but it really doesn't take long to get to ~100 prisoners, at which point the sound starts stuttering and performance starts to suffer. If there is a chance to address some performance -- particularly the sound issues IMO -- that would be welcome, but I think that the main goal should be becoming more-or-less feature complete (finishing alpha) and move then to refinement / performance / polish / content creation(story) -- that is move to Beta.

Why cannot I vote for everything?

For now I think that new features is a main priority. Polishing other features may be waste of time since the new ones usually affect them. Perfomance is rather good after alpha 11 and bug fixes is not needed till the game is complete. Story and game balance are better to be left until features are complete.

It's always got to be more features. Keep the features coming in the alpha, and fix and refine in the beta. :)
