Postby totte1015 » Fri Aug 30, 2013 5:39 pm

I have 6 workers assigned to Cleaning Cupboard, but it doesnt seem they clean anything at all, just walking around in that room during workhours:

Any ideas what can be wrong?

I think it is just prisoners being lazy, I always have like 50% that sit around in the cupboard (possible they are sexually assaulting their fellow prisoners in the cupboard). Also, how big did you want that solitary cell to be! ;)

Do you have any actual janitors yet?

I'm not sure if they work unless you have one.

Just a thought :)

What top man said, prisoners follow a janitor around. If no janitor, no worky cleen clean..
When in doubt, you are probably right. The only right person. In fact, you are probably right as of right now!

It's really not about following a janitor, but about the places being designated to clean by a janitor - anyway, if you hire one, that should solve the issue.

How did you assign 6? My max was 2. :( Also I think you need a janitor for them to clean, not to sure on that though,

How many you can assign depends on the size of the room. Not sure about the janitor thing, I generally have one hired to clean staff areas though

Y NO QUICK REPLY AND MULTI QUOTE?!
/rage

@Wolf, Hahah, yeah those solitarys are a bit big, but... I dont need many of them and they fitted with the planning i did so it got to be that for the moment :)

@Ric666, yeah, I have one Janitor and he does his thing as he should be doing, actually :/

But, after like 4 hours after walking around in there at workhours (have 6 on a row) they start wandering around, but its still filthy in the cells

Just copy and paste what you want to quote into your post and type the following around it.

Alright, still hard though :(

I dont want to create a new topic for this, so imma "go off topic" on my own thread:

Why does almost all my guards walk around the deliveries area unless I assign them to a room?

I just want them to wander around in the whole prsion instead of ONLY going in a 5'5 area :/

Dont know but, you can always tell them to "guard" an area instead of patrol then they will wonder around what area you told them to guard.

I agree its not great they all standing there, but its alpha so i'll let it pass ;)

Yeah, I know that feature, its just that... I dont like if something would happen, I'd still have guards just guarding another room even tho there is a fight or something

Also what is Gen pop, Min Sec, and Max Sec?

General population, Minimum Security and Maximum security. In case you don't know it's the three different kinds of prisoners that you can have.

My guards tend to gather in the holding cell. The empty holding cell, just seven guards wandering around there. Just like you I like to have unassigned guards for back-up. In my case it was easily solved by just locking it down but it would be nice if unassigned guards went somewhere useful.

Oh well. I'm sure it'll get fixed eventually.

Yep, my spare guards used to love the holding cell and the delivery area. I actually like the idea of having *some* in Deliveries just in case someone tries to run for the street, but I built a security room and now my guys hang out there too.
