[Suggestion] Abusing prisoners
Please allow us to manually abuse prisoners by beating and shooting them. I think a similar mechanic like searching a prisoner would work well. Clicking a prisoner would give the user the option to beat, shoot, etc. It would be fun to play the role of a dirty cop, as these scenarios do play out in real life. Well, maybe not the shooting part, but this is a game.

Hi there! Welcome to the dev forum!
I don't know about this one. It sounds like this might tie in with the suggestion "Allow custom punishment for infractions"? But it also sounds more like you just want to do those things without any reason? As this is a simulation game, I feel there would need to be some sort of reason. Or arrange for it to happen at the very least.

I think that it shouldn't be as easy as clicking "beat prisoner", you should have to be somewhat creative in how you go about your shadier deeds. For example if we get to set custom punishments for various infractions we could send a prisoner to a solitary cell, leave the prisoner in there for two days and then open a door on the other side of the cell to the outside so the desperate prisoner sees a chance of freedom. As he's running a sniper in his tower conveniently posted by the cell takes aim and shoots the prisoner lethally. Or if we can hire staff with different personalities then lets be able to hire some of the questionable applicants that have histories of violence so when they come to pick up a prisoner from solitary then they'll get angry at the whining and proceed to beat the prisoner where you merely have to fire the guard afterwards for it to look fine on paper.
Yes, that is a penguin with rabies. Deal with it.

It's fun to be sadistic in a video game? Not much different than Dwarf Fortress, really. In fact, that's way worse. If you've ever heard of the famous thread involving the mermaid baby skull extraction factory? Even the players themselves were getting a bit disturbed with how cruel they were being.

I must live on wrong Planet cause "Slashing, Beating, Shooting and be Sadistic" is what some People wants to do.
That's a curious thing to say about a game that was partially inspired by Dwarf Fortress and Dungeon Keeper. A prison simulation is a somewhat dark theme in itself. And while I don't know the direction this game is going, I would assume it will probably get darker as development continues.
You don't have to be an evil warden, but some people may want to and that isn't playing the game wrong. After all, it's just a game and there are *lots* of games where you can choose to play evil, like DF and DK as mentioned above, and Bioware games, Elder Scrolls, Grand Theft Auto, Fable, Black&White, The Sims, Overlord... etc. And having that choice is a good thing. In games, you can let go of inhibitions and explore your own dark side without resorting to those things in real life. Fun, amusing, sadistic pleasures in a harmless setting are nothing to be upset about and can even be a really good way to relieve stress and anxiety.
We aren't playing wrong. We're playing evil.

Yeah to be honest I wanted to execute a prisoner who kept beating up the staff door leading out to my garbage area.. it was still secure but hey, I guess he thought he could make it!
I wish I could prevent certain people working in the kitchens.. anyway I realised I couldnt and my bloodlust soon faded. I just made sure some guards f**ked him up instead and regularly searched his cell

Like I said, be creative. If you really want to kill a prisoner it's not hard to come up with a way. What I do is get a cooker, place it by a bed, assign a prisoner to that cell, call the fire department, hose the cell down, take the dead body to the morgue, repeat.

While I'm not so interested in actually designating prisoners for torture or whatever, it would be cool if the guards did this (maybe against your orders?)... Like so you might have one guard who's a bit of a psycho and will beat up prisoners when he thinks nobody is looking. Or you might have one who's in with another bunch - taking bribes and smuggling things in for them. Maybe some are so corrupt they can be 'turned' and will assist some prisoners in their escape!
Ok, starting to verge off-topic. But yeah, back on point; while I don't think there should be a 'torture button', this sort of behaviour might work in the right context
