that's right, and laundry baskets are now pushed faster and prisoners don't become violent if they have dirty clothes, the same with comfort now too :)

Yep, now there's zero reason to have more than 1-2 guards in any sized prison if not for moving new prisoners to their cells... No more morning shower madness

And prisoners don't clutter together anymore.

Have you noticed prison guards move baskets too now, when at night.

Yes pls check this, in case its a bug on my prison. Hahahaha. But I believe they are meant to, to keep things moving when the prison guards aren't busy at night. This happens when I have them stationed in the holding cell or cell block whilst sleeping regime.

Still bugged laundry in Alpha 11

Postby wUndertUnge » Sat Jul 06, 2013 7:42 pm

My laundry room still seems super bugged. I have 20 prisoners working 4 hours worth of laundry across 4 machines, 4 ironing boards for 48 prisoners. There are still prisoners not getting their clothes. And I don't care if they're not rioting.Cliefe and Phoenix demand it!!! Goddammit!

The prisoners just stand around doing nothing. Maybe 2 or 3 of them go and do work. Also my laundry room is right in the cell block, so it shouldn't be that far of a distance to go.

Also should mention that originally, my laundry room was in a building next to the workshop. After my laundry was not being completed, I decided to move it to the cell block and extend the workshop into the old laundry room. The laundry baskets are still sitting there, though, full. Sometimes the laundry workers will dip into there, but not really; also, there's on way to manually move or dismantle or dump the laundry baskets.

Um, laundry isn't a function of the number of machines you have. It's a function of time.
Try doubling the number of work hours and see if that works (it will).

So 8 hours of work? with 20 workers? Isn't that kind of excessive? And actually, that's only for the first shift. I go one round of 4 hours, then another round for 2 hours.
I'm trying to upload my prison to Steam Workshop so someone might be able to look at it to see if maybe my layout sucks. In any case, it's weird that 15 out of my 20 workers just stand around doing nothing.

So I did add my laundry room "bugged" prison to Steam Workshop. If anyone could take a look to let me know if I'm doing something wrong vs. it being bugged, I'd be grateful.

Sorry to double-post, but my laundry room definitely seems bugged. I downloaded another prison from the Steam Workshop, and that guy's laundry is actually up and running. My guys just stand around, at least 75% of the 20 that I've assigned. Anyways ,just worth mentioning. My prison with the bugged laundry is above.
