Prison Architect Steam Trading Cards Please

Postby qwertaz899 » Thu Jun 20, 2013 10:05 pm

You guys should make trading cards for Prison Architect on Steam. Between 5 and 8 would be nice. Like prisoner, guard, warden, riot police, doctor, etc.

not trying to be silly, just trying to understand.

Yes. Development time should not be used to do non game stuff.

Yeah, this. Why would anyone want such a thing? In 'the old days' you'd at least get a physical card to trade. Do people really fall for this marketing bullshit?

true but judging my my own steam "friends" theres quite a few people who are buying games because they have cards... at the very least it's a swaying factor

If introversion wants to do that after the game is finished, fine, but they shouldn't be doing that in development time.

Trading cards give badges for set completion, badges give xp, xp gives higher level on steam.

What does a higher level on steam get you? More trading cards?

Feels as if they have the same purposes as achievements. To show all your online friends how great you are at virtual things.
They can enhance gameplay, but is most definitely not required whatsoever, and I'd rather the devs spent more time working on the GAME.

A bigger e-peen to wave in the faces of other people who think it actually matters.
