Hey all,
I was playing earlier today and I had trouble getting out of a negative cash balance. A friend and I figured it would be a good idea to have the ability to sell whatever objects are already in place, rather than the workmen just put them out for garbage. Firing workers does help you regain a positive balance, but with a bigger prison it becomes harder to maintain a well working prison. Selling off unneeded objects such as extra phones or TVs can certainly help.

Economy in the game isn't balanced at all. If you just want more money, add it to your game by modifying your save file; there are a lot of threads in this forum telling you how.

This is something I've wanted as well. Would be especially useful for scenarios, where you could do stuff like hide caches of items that the player can either use, or sell to buy other stuff.
Sold items should sell for 100% of their value if sold right away, or 50% if they're older than an hour or so. This would make it much less painful when you accidentally buy an extra generator and pump, for example.
