I had a look on the Steam forum, it's a minefield of complaints.... Not even sensible ones though... lol

But well done IV, looking good!

Yeh, most of the folk on the steam discussions group don't have a clue what an Alpha is....

A lot of it is also to do with price.

That's really the only problem I see with this new business model of releasing an alpha/beta to the public - an uneducated consumer base. Ahh well, I guess that's pretty much the issue behind anything :P

EDIT: I don't at all mean to sound like I'm "speaking from a high horse" or whatever. I just meant people (including myself) always seem to think they know more about everything than the next guy, and kind of then don't try and find out more and learn that there actually is more to know (and that perhaps what they thought before was wrong).

It seems that Prison Architect is in fact a flagship for the early access feature to valve, which is pretty interesting, because it means that valve also has "stakes" in the success of PA.

I seem to be seeing new indie games under development on steam every week. I like it

I think the main reason it gets a news segment is the Steam workshop integration. A good thing for the game nonetheless :)

I don't know if this has been discussed anywhere before - but is it possible to link my existing copy to one on steam? Is there a key I can enter into steam so I can play it from there?

Dig out the email you got from IV when you paid and there should be a steam key (unless you've been lurking since pre-Steam I guess). Just enter the Steam code into Steam and Steam will download the Steam version for you.
