Humm, need to donate $5,000 to access developer forums, and, after donating that $5k, they say they can't cover travel costs to meet them. Surely unless you book a private jet, they could put a small part of that aside for the cost?

But yeah, advertising on another game's site, not cool :/ Not in this board anyway, dunno about the general forums that aren't related to IV products specifically...

Whilst yes, wrong place, man have I never seen such a negative reaction to a someone mentioning a kickstarter.
Just say it's posted in the wrong place and suggest where you might post the information, so people can go support another upcoming indie game, not treat them like they just slapped you in the face with dog crap.

Well, if you made a game and people published ADVERTISEMENTS in your forums, would you have said "Hi! Yea, support the game so we go bankrupt please! Btw, wrong category!" You cant be positive to someone that ADVERTISES without permission. With permission, I wouldn't care. But now, I dont want to make a "fight" in this thread. So, to say it simple: No advertising

If you read the OP you would notice that the reason it's in the dev forum is we're already backers, we've backed the game with X amount of money and probably won't be boosting that amount in the near future. As opposed to being in the general forum or the lounge where someone might be on the fence about buying PA and they clicked that link and decided to skip over PA and go for that kickstarter because it's limited time only.

Well, to be fair there, this isn't a competition. Both games already have plenty of money, more than they expected (or will need), for quite a while in the future. There's no major loss to either company if one person goes for one game over the other, and even if they decide to go for Stonehearth due to it being limited-time only, there's no reason they couldn't pick up PA in the near future.
