Can prisoners who have jobs use staff doors?

Postby notsatan » Fri Apr 26, 2013 12:23 pm

For example, can a prisoner who is assigned to the kitchen open a staff door leading into that room?

I ask because I'm not sure how to secure rooms that I only want working prisoners to have access to.

No they cant.
So you either have to use a normal door or assign guard to patrol next to the door.

It's better to use regular doors to the kitchen and instead use metal detectors to protect from knife stealing prisoners.

Well actually, These prisoners are able to go through the Staff door as long as a guard opens it or someone else accidently opens it. THe only thing blocking it is staff only sections.

So just to be clear - a staff door is a regular door that is locked and staff members have the key and regular door is always unlocked?

That's the idea, yeah.
