Prisoner change clothes if needed

Postby Scyl » Wed Apr 24, 2013 3:03 pm

I know the prisoner change clothes after they shower, but instead of complaining about dirty clothes until they shower, they should either change or go shower if they want to change clothes

Dirty clothes?

The prisoners don't complain about dirty clothes ... yet.
The complaint is about 'hygiene' and is for the prisoners body, so a shower fixes that.

They only complain if they had no chance to shower for at least one day. Either by missing the shower time or by not reaching available showers entirely.

This deserves a face palm. He is talking about the Alpha 9 build.

Anyway I too have seen quite a lot of bugs with the new laundry mechanics. The laundry workers move the laundry bags first to the centre of the building and leave them there then they start to go without the bags to each cell to bring new laundry. This takes too much time (especially in a big building) and thus makes the clothing need unsolvable.

I just entered from a long working day.
I now know about Alpha 9 and the laundry.
I just expected Alpha 9 to be released on Thursday for whatever reason was clinging onto my head.

So my post was not about the new build.
In fact I was reading about Alpha 9 like 3 minutes after my post was written.

Facepalm yourself.
Thank you.

BL4DE, stop being an asshole. You decided to start being a douche to somebody with a valid question, then can't even admit you were wrong and blame it on external factors (long working day...) instead of what is your ignorance and own fault.

I decided to give an answer to my knowledge about Alpha 8.

And btw thats not blaming to 'external factors', thats explaining why I answered with that old old ooooooold knowledge.

And I admit you keep insulting despite the fact I told you multiple times to stop.

To get back on subject, yes the laudry system seems kinda buggy at the moment. Personally i have been playing for the past few hours and have been incapable of setting up a working laudry rotation. No matter how many or few prisoners i set on the job, it seems to be a bit impossible to get everyone clean clothing on a regular basis. Causing all the prisoners to go on a rampage after a few days.

I have noticed that it works okay-ish, just after i set it up, and i dont have to many prisoners yet. But as soon as more prisoners arrive and i start adding more cell-blocks, the prisoners get confused, and stop picking up dirty clothing, and start putting multiple laundry carts in one cell block. Of which only one actually get's used. Also, at some point clean clothing stops beeing delivered, which, in my case, was because no new clothing got ordered for new prisoners when they arrived, causing a shortage at some point.

It's a fun new feature, but for me it's just not playable right now, as the clean cloths are mandatory to keep the prisoners happy, but it just doesnt really work well yet.

Does this forum have a way to block or hide posts from unhelpful, dickwad users? I can't seem to find a way to do it, and it would surely be most helpful.
