Alpha7: My prison is always in a total mess after load...

Postby kongoman » Sat Mar 02, 2013 10:09 am

One thing I have noticed is that even though I always make sure my prison runs smoothly before I save the game and exit the application, when I load the same game the next day my prison is always in a total mess
with red unconscious prisoners all over my cell blocks. The first thing to do every time I load the game is to send the doctors all over the place, just like the prisoners needs are maxed out after a load.

I was therefore wondering if this is a known problem ?

havent seen that before. Are they solitary in the cells, and idea what could potentially cause the damage, as it were?

I notice that the prison 'fires up' on every load - so the electricity and water pressure starts flowing through the prison. Nice touch - its like waking it up rather than freezing time

Incredibly strange. This happens to me every time I load my prison. And I seem to be the only one experiencing this..

You arn't the only one, I figured I just wasn't paying attention when I saved my prison because yesterday when I loaded it there were 6 unconscious prisoners just lying in the dirt with no apparent aggressors as there had been a fight a little while ago but I had made sure to heal everyone before I saved and exited.
Yes, that is a penguin with rabies. Deal with it.

kongoman: Does it happen with other prison or with just 1 prison in particular?

If it's just with 1 prison, please create a new report in the Mantis bug tracking system and attach your prison file.

It only seem to happen with Max Sec prisoners in a dedicated Max Sec cell block.
I will test this more thoroughly during the weekend and post a bug report if needed.

I've not seen any unconscious prisoners, but I've had similar issues - I loaded one I'd saved 15 minutes earlier & my daily schedule had become a mishmash of the default and the one I'd set it to, and one of the guards was stuck in a 3x2 cell I'd not yet put a door on, about 10-20m "south" from where he was when I'd saved.

I'm running the OSX version (and haven't figured out how to log bug reports yet).
