Black screen and can't find alpha forums

So I just bought PA and I cant see anything other than the name of the rooms and shadows of the workers... so far this is a waste of 30$ and I really would like some help as I have searched all over the place and apparently there's an answer in the alpha forums. So can someone tell me how to resolve this issue or how to get my money back because this game is just unplayable and I'm to the point where looking for an answer is just impossible.

I know that the picture is from a guy who pirated the game but I actually paid 30$ for this game so I know its a problem with the game and I also updated my drivers and still the problem persists.

Firstly, I think by 'alpha forums' you mean the 'Developer Forum'. Technically the 'general' and 'developer' forums make up the 'alpha forums'.

So, the question then becomes, why can't you find the developer forum? Just click the link there near the general forum, which you found easily enough.
If you're having problems logging into the developer forum, someone can help you with that too.

To get access to the the Developer forum, you need to activate your forum account with your Prison Architect key.

So the problem a lot of people are having is due to some of the Radeon HD series video cards! All you have to do to fix this problem is dissable the Catalyst AI which should be on the tray on the bottom left of your screen! I will keep this topic open to help others with the same problem and I activated my key thanx for the help guys!
