Strangest thing, when I recieve new prisoners, most of them have already served a major portion of their sentence according to that progress bar. So no, I don't think it's working properly yet.

Thats not unusual.

Some prisoners are transferred around.
Just treat as that, youve taken in an intake of prisoners from elsewhere. Perhaps they have less capacity than you and are offloading those who are nearing end of tenure, or they no longer have the capacity for Low Threat prisoners and so on.

This is a good point. AFAIK it is pretty usual for prisoners to get transfered. Also - I dont know how this works in the rest of the world - but here in Denmark, any time spent in jail waiting for trial is getting shaved off of your prison sentence. So when you go to prison you have usually already served a portion of the time.

I found one of my prisoners who was accused of drunkendisorderlybehavior *not sure if i wrote it right* sentence was 1years, he has served 1.0 years.
Couldnt get screenshot of it :/ printscreen comes out all black..

I have seen them mention a parole system, so I suspect they have a bunch more to add before prisoners can actually be released. I am really hoping this is in Alpha 7.
