That's very peculiar, it definitely worked before because I looked and then laughed at Ronanc. This is important, because everybody should laugh at Ronanc.

I've had a number of authorised entries over time - long story short: I keep coming back to post stupid shit on the form which leaves my entry unauthorised again; you might call it testing. The most recent was 4 days ago.

Hmm. I made mine a week and a half ago, and I have yet to recieve any mail about the bio. If I got the register mails, I should get the other ones also, right? Not that I'm in a rush to get it authenticated, but would be nice to know :)

My entry keeps getting accepted but my bio keeps getting overwritten by my name. Anyone else having this problem?

I never got an authorised e-mail at all (it's been weeks). Yes, at the moment the page displays nothing in FF but I guess it's safe to assume since I got no e-mail I'm still waiting. Do we need to re-submit every time there's a new alpha of the game or should they 'stick'?

I guess I'll wait until the list works again and re-submit if I'm still left dangling.

Same here. When I got my first authorisation email, the bio was only my name (or put another way maybe the first word of my bio). Tried fixing it, but it happened again.

Do you keep starting with:
FirstName "quine" Surname

Specifically with those quote marks? It's been a problem for a while.

Ah well, that makes sense. I figured it might be stripping anything after the double quotes but wasn't sure. I guess I'll be using single quotes for now...

Just to confirm, being in the Unauthorised list isn't a rejection, right? I've not moved out of that list ever since I entered my details way back.

Every entry is unauthorised by default and moved to the authorised list later. However, if it hasn't been accepted after so long, maybe it needs reviewing anyway?

Edit: Oh, hey. Some of these have double quotes now. Eek!'s is one of them.

Edit 2: lol, Millicent "I AM a MAN" Baxter. That's certainly one way around the male-only problem.

You mean if you add quotation marks in the bio field there's a problem? I thought the devs just sort of manually verified the lists rather than anything automated (and thus room for errors). I think I submitted mine back in the first alpha, ho hum...

There was (and may still be) a problem with it. When viewing the unauthorised entries, they would be cut short by ending just before the first quotation mark. I was noting that there many unauthorised entries that didn't do this.

It may still be the case for authorised entries, as several are cut short in a manner that suggests that character was about to be used, the most obvious examples being ending on a first name. I don't know when the entries were added/accepted so it's really complete guesswork that no one who knows better has cared to correct/silence me about.
