Hi!
When trying to enlarge a room I've been stuck destroying everything and starting again. Because the foundation building tool must have walls, you can't simply destroy one wall and enlarge a room.
Is there a way? Because now my rooms all have lines of un-zoned tiles between let's say a canteen and its "enlargement".
Any tips are welcome.
Thanks a lot!
Build foundations without walls?

To do this, I place a new foundation nex tot the old one, where I want my new building. It will leave you with a wall between them. Demolish this using the destroy foundation tool, demolish the wall and one tile on either side.
THEN build a foundation in the empty spot. It will not have any walls and you should end up with a larger building.

Weird, last time I tried this it wasn't working at all, when I tried the tiles became red when selecting them with the foundation build tool.
I'll retry, thanks for the response!
Ah and do you know how to quickly un-zone a room? Instead of left-clicking maniacally hehe.
EDIT: Another one: how to cancel a foundation which is set to begin building? I built near a limit of the map and the green selection is stuck and I can't build anything anymore on it. Thanks for the first tip: IT WORKED!
Thanks!

Dezoning rooms can be done buy opening up the rooms tab, then right click and dragging where you want to unassign. As for deleting foudnations... if you find a way, let me know! LOL. Its a bit of a pain, but I dont think there is anything that can be done about it at this stage. Someone else might have had more success though.
Good to hear you got it working though!

wow amazing! thx for the tip!
