Fantastic to see even with all your hard work elsewhere you are managing to get the odd bug here and there ironed out. Love this game. Cant wait for Alpha2!

Do this forum's bug reports need to be re-entered into Mantis? It looks like there are some here that aren't yet entered there.

You guys are good! Two of the bug reports I've made/participated in were fixed according to the bug tracker within hours of me commenting on them.

For those new to Mantis. In the description and comments you can type #nn where nn is the bug number (e.g. #1) to get a smart link to the bug. It will have a nice tooltip with the linked bug's title and a line through it if it's resolved/closed.

Major influx of complete numpties on the forums and on the bug tracker.

It's like every 12 year old WoW kiddie has suddenly picked up a copy of PA.

You do realize that this is exactly how the forum regulars felt when the alpha started? This new stage is not any different from the first one.

In other words: welcome to the bashing-newcomers-if-they-behave-stupid-club. I hope you see the logic in it now. ;)

Jelco

Remember when you were a complete n00b? I do!

:P

Of course, the only people that remember when I was a complete n00b have pretty much disappeared! \o/

It doesn't help. Being a dick to one person doesn't make the next less of a newbie. You just turn the forums into a hostile mess of people being shit to one another. People call these forums toxic, filled with egomaniacs, and they're right. The massive influx of people since the PA launch is one of the best things to happen to this place.

I think you'd do well to try being nice to people for a change.

Oh and one more thing, maybe another post like this needs to be made: http://forums.introversion.co.uk/uplink ... hp?t=25246

Genuinely never knew Wil Wheaton spelt his name like that... what an oddball...

I can't believe I didn't know that already. I've been pasting the full URL in all the time and changing the number at the end. This will save literally seconds of my life every time. If we total it up over the course of the alpha... hell... You've given me the gift of an extra ice cream in my life, if not more.

I seem to be getting an email every time someone does something on Mantis to a bug I've commented on. I've unsubscribed from all email alerts in preferences but it's still happening.

Definitely didn't think about making you regret saying that... :P

You're right though, if the bug tracker were up atm I'd check if the preferences thing worked or not but I also get a bunch of bug tracking emails whenever anything is updated. Seems a bit overkill to let me know about EVERYTHING, but then again - I get a ton more emails from this forum every day as well.

--edit--

Also, I just noticed I made my 102th post... where's the pretty button so I can show it off to all my friends?
