Performance on low end machine.

Postby samm112 » Sat Sep 29, 2012 1:45 pm

I've been running PA on a fairly old laptop, and can gladly report that it is holding up rather nicely, getting about 30fps with barely any hiccups.
Anyone else done any low end testing?

Laptop specs.
Intel Celeron 440 @ 1.86 GHz
894MB RAM
ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M

Bravo Introversion, this hunk-a-junk has trouble playing browser games most of the time.

Try making a 50x50 workshop and report back.

Or any sort of mass queuing of jobs in general.

Took a notable performance hit with the workshop suggestion including some sound issues, but the game is still playable (dancing between 10 and 20 fps).
