TL;DR.

Designate a storage area. It bypasses the backup of trucks.

Also if you move the delivery area inland, you don't need to unload trucks and you also don't receive any more prisoners.

Erm....things already are delivered in batches.....you get stacks of items.

All the games I've started so far have completely fallen apart because I simply don't get any new materials. I'm left without important piping and other stuff that brings my prison to a standstill.

I suspect this is because my road ends up cluttered with objects, and workmen simply don't bring them to where they're meant to be.

I haven't tried making a larger delivery area, but all things considered this seems strange.
