I tried doing "en-suite" shower-rooms and toilets and the AI got very confused and I ended up with loads of people escaping!

My latest. Gave up making big sprawling prisons due to bugs and lag, so gone for something small and tidy. Weirdways: A complete small prison with housing for 92 inmates.

I'm going for the "holiday camp" style. Each prisoner gets his own villa, with separate dining room, living room, bedroom with ensuite shower room and a fully stocked kitchen.

My pipe and electric layouts are boring as hell, basically just 3 or 4 straight horizontal lines with smaller pipes off when necessary

Prison divided into two halves, each with their own utilites. There is a switchable link by the entrance should one pump station or generator fail :)
