[Suggestion] conjugal visits and other visitors

Postby motoryogurt » Thu Sep 27, 2012 9:55 pm

I imagine IV is all ready planning it, would be crazy to leave it out.

Could even use it as a reward type system to pacify prisoners and improve moods.

Additionally, you've gotta have rooms designated for visiting. I'm picturing the classic talking via phone through a glass wall type scenario.

This of course adds a new visitor character type to the game...

Visitors sneaking in contraband? :P better tighten up security.

I was thinking along exactly the same lines.

Plenty of things that can be added to the game for sure. In low security prisons you often have family rooms with a nice, non scary decor. Perfect for the less dangerous inmates who have family.

But yeah - I'd love to see a plethora of rooms and means to achieve certain things down the road. :)

This gives a decent use to things like "fancy tile" and "mosaic tile" too.

I'd certainly like to see this combined with prisoner ranks (low, mid, high security), where certain prisoners are allowed to visit their families in nice rooms, and others get the plastic window and phone.

They're great for office hallways and fancy entrance halls. I usually use wooden planks for office rooms.

Very great idea, it's for me, a really important dimension for a prison. And this could be add in the time management for prisonners, but maybe not only in the day.

For example, an interface to manage the week :

Monday : BLOCK A only allow to receive visit
Tuesday : BLOCK C only allow to receive visit
etc...

and then the family members start a riot because they didn't get to see the inmate because he started a fight because he couldn't wait that extra 15 minutes till visitation hour.....

Not to be a stickler, but technically yours is actually the duplicate - given that this was first written in September, and yours in October. For once, whoever revived the thread actually did use the search function :P
