[Bug: Win7 32bit] Overloaded Kitchen [Solved]

I got a real problem with the food, because my cooks don't make the amount they could. Searched the forum, but nothing came up.

Steps to reproduce:
Don't really now, but look at the notes, there is my kitchen with the actual problem.

Expected:
The cooks should use the ingrediens that are already in the kitchen and make a big stack of food.

Result:
The cooks bringing more stuff into the kitchen instead of using what is already there and waste a lot of time running.

Try making more fridges?

I could do that, but that doesn't solve the problem that they bring to much food. In the fridge at the top left corner is a good amount of raw material and i think they should use that up first.

I'm thinking the amount of ingredients they bring is releated to the amount of prisoners you have. That's what I'm noticing at the moment.

That sounds like a good explanation. I think that kitchen is far too small for the amount of prisoners it has to feed. I will keep an eye on the food-prisoner-ratio from now on.

My rule is: keep adding refrigerators until one is empty.

It also *really* helps kitchen efficiency if you put the Storage room right outside the kitchen door.

Ok, new prison, new layout.

I work with 8 fridges and 4 cookers at the moment and everything is fine. So no bug, just a little misunderstanding on the needed amount of fridges.
