Remove Prisoners, Add Dwarves.

Postby RossMills » Thu Sep 27, 2012 4:40 pm

This game feels like how I wanted Dwarf Fortress to be. I'm not sure how else to describe it. The little dudes running around carrying stuff, having to keep everyone happy and build stuff.

It feels as if Introversion added a GUI to Dwarf Fortress and in doing so made me excited for their product even more. I tiny bit of me wants them to scrap the Prison Aesthetic and build an infinite underground system for me to build into...

Dunno if it's dodgy to advertise another in development indie game on an alpha forum, but Gnomoria is basically a slightly simpler version of Dwarf Fortress with a much easier UI. I feel that the development of it will eventually see it become as hugely complex as DF (it's already pretty good, try it out).

In any case, I like the Prison Architect motif more. I'm sure modding (if it happens) will eventually bring around other 'scenarios' for you to build in.
