[Bug] Dismantle doesn't achieve anything? (placing new item)

I've dismantled a couple of metal detectors (in a panicky attempt to stop some of the daily mass fighting everywhere...) but when I re-place "them" elsewhere (after a while) the game simply buys and ships new ones to the prison instead of using the un-used ones.

Had that problem too, not with metal-detectors, but with a muscle-bench, just wanted to place it somewhere else, dismantle and... not enough money, but i saw it right in the storeage.
