Deleting walls (making a floor)

Postby tradami » Thu Sep 27, 2012 1:54 am

Right now when I delete a wall (indoors) and try and make it concrete, it does not allow me to. It thinks it is outdoors. Im aware this is a bug. Anyone know how to bypass this?

You don't need to delete the wall, just order a floor to be built over it and the wall will be removed.

I'd been getting the same issue - thanks for the workaround!

Spent so long trying to work out how to fix this bug in my cell block (after making all of the cells the wrong size) that I'd not even noticed that my canteen had burned to the ground and half of my inmates (the half that weren't char-broiled) had legged it!!

I made this mistake in my warden's office, and it trapped him inside. He wouldn't walk over the ground to get out of the door!

I've since learnt to use the floor types to override walls ;)
