Doors - How to

Postby tradami » Thu Sep 27, 2012 12:30 am

Alright guys so I'm having some issues with doors. How do you correctly build prison doors? Do you build the walls and leave a spot for the door or do you build the entire enclosure then put a door in the wall? It seems to work both ways but I'm not sure which way works the best (less bugs)

Leaving gaps is probably better since workmen won't destroy the wall section, I don't think there's a proper way though

yeah it looks like their angle is wrong, its like the door is steeper angle than the walls :P it looks a bit wierd.

Also staff only, prisoners cannot get out, and if they are eveyrone, prisons just walk out. dont quite get it.

Buildings (Foundations > Building) shouldn't even build themselves until you place a door.

For normal walls (Materials > BrickWall) I leave a gap.

You need a big wall around your entire prison. The cell doors should be open to all.
