[Bug] No way to remove a foundation until it has been built

There currently doesn't seem to be any way to remove foundations until they've been finished completely.

Seconded. The demolish tool is red on left click and makes a sound like it's working on right click, but does nothing.

Same here.. really hurtful :(

And I don't like it that you have remove a whole foundation if you want to recreate it (like make it abit smaller or so).

You can't add to a foundation either. If you try it demands a new entry..

I had this problem too and it made my prison look really messy! Especially when they never get around to building the foundations :P

So far I've been able to fudge it for the most part, but yes this is one of the more clunkier parts of the construction system.

More importantly what does the game mean when it states that the foundations require an entrance?

I've been in situations whereby the foundations are placed, walls are there, there's a door etc, and it still demands an entrance.

Does it mean a door? Why would foundations require a door anyway, especially if there's no wall? This has been the most frustrating learning curve for me and I still haven't quite cracked why sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

However knowing that I can't add to a set of foundations at least explains why it didn't work in that scenario.
